Marco Rudy illustrates a story of young Lex and Darkseid, while Ed Benes tackles a tale starring Luthor and Batman foe Ra's al Ghul!
La trama promette solo una schifezza di storia, poi la copertina con Darkseid e un giovane e capelluto Luthor mi lascia senza parole. L'oscuro signore di Apokolips ha conosciuto prima il rosso che Superman? E già qui non mi piace, prima dell'avvento dell'Azzurrone che interesse poteva avere D. per un pianeta primitivo di formiche? Sarà che poi odio la retro continuity, quando inseriscono elementi assurdi...
Invece la trama di Superman #706 mi piace, almeno si cambia un po' dalla solita passeggiata, "The epic "Grounded" story arc brings The Man of Steel to Des Moines, Iowa! A chance encounter there, however, suddenly thrusts Superman back in time. So somehow he's Superboy again, the world is on the brink of nuclear Armageddon and it's all his fault!"
